What It Takes to Drive With Waller
Drivers must be at least 25 years old, clear our screening requirements, and be available for at least 21 consecutive days on the road per dispatch cycle.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 25 years old
- Valid license and class appropriate for the assigned equipment
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Successful company-approved criminal background screening
- DOT physical and valid Medical Examiner's Certificate when required
- Required pre-employment drug testing
- Active cellular plan and reliable communication while dispatched
- Availability for at least 21 consecutive days on the road per dispatch cycle
- Ability to follow hours-of-service, ELD, inspection, cargo-securement, and incident-reporting procedures
- Willingness to sign the applicable driver or carrier agreement
- Professional, accountable, coachable, and receptive to safety and performance feedback
Screening and Approval
Driver approval requires completion of all screening, qualification, testing, and contract requirements that apply to the position. Requirements may vary based on the equipment, license class, insurance standards, and applicable state and federal rules.
